The hottest trumpeter to hit these shores for decades, Alabama born Abram Wilson has left a trail of audiences wowed by his lyrical, yet turbo-charged solos and his versatile voice. Like a one-man MOBO Awards ceremony his young breed of jazz is inspired by boogaloo, rap, hip hop, ska, funk and soul. Having worked with artists such as Soweto Kinch, Denys Baptist and Jazz Jamaica All Stars, Abram launched his solo career in 2004. Jazz Warriors is an outstanding debut album from this charismatic performer.

Vibrant, confident, and just damn exciting. Not only is Wilson a first class trumpeter, he’s extremely accomplished at singing, rapping and scatting too.
